Moving vs Jail

Let's play a game.

Would you rather...?

    A. Move

    B. Plan a Wedding

    C. Go to Jail

      The Results Are In…

In a recent survey of 2000 Americans, Life Storage and OnePoll found that 1 in 10 Americans think moving is more stressful than spending a week in jail.

      Yes, you read that right.

Max Knoblauch wrote a New York Post article titled One in Ten Americans Would Prefer a Week in Jail Over Moving.  The article includes an infographic and mentions how many happy/sad cries people experience while moving. (The number is two, in case you’re wondering.)

Now, my question is, who would choose to spend a week in jail?  Jeannie Mai, of The Real, would prefer an orange jumpsuit over moving.  Watch the video to find out what she has to say.  Warning: This video starts with moving and ends with jail.  Rated PG-13 for mild language.

Thank you Skye C. for sharing this video with me!

      • Jeremy, that sounds like a great book! I can’t wait to read it.

When you have to move again, you know where to find me.

      • This reminds me. I need to work on that book idea I came up with when I moved from Cove – “Zen and the Art of Moving”. I’ve always hated moving (I’ve done it far more often than I’d have preferred), but that move, after the bottom fell out of everything, I found a kind of Zen.

You’ll be the first person I contact when I have to move again. ☺
